Rob Matarangas
Managing Director
In 1992, Rob founded the Mariner Group, which operates as a private
equity and merger and acquisition advisory. He has worked with companies
such as Healtheon, Ariba, Memorex, Penguin Computing, Intuit, Applied
Materials, and Silicon Graphics. Prior to the Mariner Group, Rob
was in the Technology Investment Banking Group with Bear Stearns
and Co.

Ali Kettani
Managing Director
Ali is the founder of Lighthouse Investments, a foreign direct
investment advisory firm specialized in the MENA Region. Prior to
Lighthouse Investments, he was a member of the Executive Board of
the Derivatives Division of Société Générale.
Ali brings over ten years of experience in capital markets, including
both Paris and Wall Street, and an IT & Telecom engineering
degree and experience.

Betti M. Sands
Managing Director, Programs
Betti is a responsible for Legislative Affairs, Apprentice and ONE-TO-ONE Programs. She has twenty years experience in the non-profit sector. She most recently was the Vice President of The Sisters of Mercy's McAuley Institute, working directly with women throughout the nation on affordable housing issues. Betti has provided professional leadership to a variety of international efforts, helping to establish social and economic development programs and services in Costa Rica, Canada, Mexico and Venezuela. With a keen interest in family and community development, she has written federal legislation, state policies and worked with international policies impacting issues in Southeast Asia. Betti holds a B.A. from University of South Carolina and is an advisor to Drs. John McKnight and Jody Krietzman, The ABCD Institute (Community Building- Civic Engagement), Northwestern University and a board member of the National SIDS Foundation.

Tina H. Frank
Director
Tina acts as an independent program consultant to organizations producing conferences for the women’s market. In this capacity, she designs the content and creates programs for events ranging from 5,000 women in the Bay Area to the California Governor’s Conference on Women in Southern California with an audience of 10,000 women. Before starting her own consulting business in 1998, Tina served for five years as Bay Area Regional Director for the California Trade and Commerce Agency, an agency whose mission is to attract and retain businesses and jobs for California. She resides in San Francisco, where she currently sits on the boards of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation and Educate Girls Globally (EGG) and is a member of Women’s Forum West |
